Braintiq turns every subject into a space. The AI in that space has read your own lecture notes, past papers and textbooks, and builds study guides, flashcards, quizzes and study plans from them. You can share a space with your classmates and work through it together. It also includes a Pomodoro focus timer, grade tracker and GPA calculator, study planner, AI notes and summaries, habit tracker and an XP achievement system. It is open to students anywhere, and knows South African curricula including CAPS, NSC and TVET module structures.
When Braintiq builds a study guide it does not just write from memory. It reads your own documents, quotes the exact passage each statement is based on, and then checks that quote really appears in that document before saving anything. Every claim shows the file and page it came from, so you can go and look. Anything it could not trace back to your material is marked as unsupported rather than quietly left in, and if your documents do not cover what you asked for, it tells you that instead of writing something plausible about a different topic.
Yes, on the paid plans. Student Pro includes 15 web searches a day and Student Max includes 40. Braintiq answers from your own notes first, because that is what your exam is set on, and searches the web when a question needs something your material does not cover. Sources are shown so you can check them. The free plan answers from your uploaded material only.
Braintiq has a free tier plus two paid Student plans, priced in South African rand. Student Pro is R49 per month, R249 per semester, or R449 per year, which works out to R37.42 a month on annual billing. Student Max is R110 per month, R594 per semester, or R999 per year, which works out to R83.25 a month. Access starts immediately on payment and you can cancel any time.

Yes. You can cancel from Settings at any time with no cancellation fee and no lock-in. You keep full access until the end of the billing period you already paid for, then the account moves back to the free tier automatically. Your notes, flashcards, grades and planner are never deleted.
Yes, on Student Pro and Student Max. Braintiq can download an on-device AI model so the tutor keeps answering with no data and no electricity at the tower. Flashcards, notes and the focus timer also work offline on every plan, which matters during load-shedding and when mobile data runs out.
Payments are handled securely by Lemon Squeezy, which accepts major debit and credit cards. Prices are shown in South African rand. Braintiq never sees or stores your card details, and your plan activates the moment the payment goes through.
